**Small update**

EVO X bar from bodykitskingdom arrived, test fitted it & snapped a photo; Having it painted & fitted in the coming week. Hoping it turns out good,
I mocked up the photo on my iPad & coloured to match lol

Also:

Installed a Rockford PRIME 7501D Mono amo & a P2 sub, sounds great!
Birth chart has it doing 994watts RMS at 14.4V!

& finalised my Nexus 7 tablet install, worked out the kinks & have it running automated & smoothly. :)

Installed a cheapie eBay dash cam, records pretty well, not the best but can't complain for the price.

Installed a small LED light in the glove box

On a side note, does anyone in Sydney know where I could get my roof wrapped in a black vinyl?

Build quality is OK, but fit isn't factory, have been told some minor work will be needed on the guard side to make it fit flush.
Also the primer they put on was horrible.
Will post pics once it's on so you guys can judge the final install.

As for the Nexus 7 install, I couldn't be happier, it does everything I was after & total cost was about $200 inc the apps.
The 1st gen Nexus 7 can be had for $100 second hand now, which is a steal!

Custom ROM on the tablet which enables it to charge at 1.8amps from a USB socket & support a powered USB hub for devices, flash memory, SD cards etc.

A list of apps I use are:
Sygic Australia (NAV)
Poweramp w/custom skin (MUSIC)
Torque Pro (OBDII)
Pandora (INTERNET RADIO)
SDR Touch (FM Radio)
Tasker (Automation, startup, shutdown)
Some background apps to keep things running smooth

Gesture control,
Pinch screen to go home
Swipe down to go back etc.
10 Band EQ across all music apps

Of course there are many ways to setup the tablet, but this is what works best for me so far
I'm sure I will customise & tweak it more in the coming weeks.

Any questions just ask!

UPDATED LIST OF TABLET APPS:

Airplay capability
Full 4G internet service
Music Streaming (Pandora, Spotify etc.)
Large custom Keyboard for car use

Took care of some car things this past week;

Had my roof wrapped in Gloss Black -

Re-installed my aftermarket headlights -
- installed new DRL LED's (whiter to match the high beams)
- Installed a DRL controller, (Dims the DRL strip to 30% brightness when the low beams are on)
- Adjusted the cutoff shield for a cleaner line & a purple hue at the rim
- Blacked out the halo ring with Plasti-Dip
- Blacked out the DRL reflectors Plasti-Dip

Happy with the outcome. :)
Let me know your thoughts:

*photos have a blue-ish hut to the lighting/camera, but they are pure white in person
