***UPDATE*** Merline Tune

On Friday I had my car tuned by merlin from the forum,

After about 3.5hours of tuning, the car feels much different, starts up smoother' Idles nicer, & the responsive feel now is incredible, the best money I have spent so far on this car.
Also over this weekend I've been getting better fuel economy as well & the car moves smoother from a 0 in traffic, which CVT owners will love.

For those of you thinking about a tune here, my advice is, go for it - you won't regret it

merlin is a great tuner, & has so much knowledge about these cars. No question is un answered and he lets you know what is being done at whatever time.

Here's a pic while we were out:

Thanks merlin, :D

You won't be disappointed Mark,
I waited a while on this, but figured I left long enough,
kicking myself for not going ahead with it earlier
It's just a awesome result & a great day with merlin

**Installed my Nexus 7 (old version) into my car for music & navigation
Audio streams over Bluetooth so steering controls work.
Fully removable, the tablet clicks in place with some small very strong magnets. (just have to paint the magnet black*)
Mounted on top of my existing aftermarket head unit on a purposely slanted angle towards the driver.
Works great with a few automation apps on the tablet is unlocks & starts the music app once the car is on. :)

Torque OBDII app, Navigation, Music etc.

Further integrated my android tablet into my dash today as I was happy with how it functioned the past few weeks. Music (local, streaming, GPS,
took out the existing LCD from my eBay aftermarket stereo & fitted the tablet there instead, - works great, & steering controls are retained as the actual unit sits behind the tablet still, even CD's will work but there's no way of seeing what track is actually playing. Although I haven't used a CD in the car for years. I also installed a powered USB hub in the glovebox for easy mounting of USB drives, Hard drives etc for media & charging is done via a 12V to USB charger. Keeps the tablet fully charged. :)

I'd recommend the setup to anyone looking for a cheaper setup over a branded head unit with lots of customisation,
Happy to help anything with my experiences, just ask
Can list useful apps if anyone is interested, but here are some pics of the install:

**also on the way is a Evo x replica bar from bodykitskingdom (eBay), will post pics once its with me & fitted.
