Hi All,

Today I signed on the dotted line to purchase a brand new Lancer SX Sedan in Lightning blue (wooo hooo!!). Got a good changeover price and cant wait to take delivery. Compared to the Ford Focus LX and Holden Cruze, the Lancer is definately the better drive.

congrats on the new purchase and welcome to the club. you wont be disappointed. I guess the worst part is the wait. :)

so you got plans to mod? Plenty of ideas and helping hands on here. I hope you enjoy your time on CCJ.

Thanks Guys for the welcome, I'm very impressed by the forum so far!

Looking through the different posts, I'm amazed at the level of detail and excited about the options in modding my Lancer; favourite section so far is 'How to...' and I haven't even got the car yet!

I might need to hassle the salesperson tomorrow to get my car delivered ASAP!!

I'm booked in to pick up the car on Wednesday afternoon! woo hoo!!

First stop, window tinter, then bluetooth and maybe reverse sensors. Can't wait to get my hands on it!

Hi Guys,

So i picked up my new car yesterday. I love it! It is soooo much better then my old Mazda 3, definately more responsive and comfortable to drive. Alot quieter inside as well. I wish I bought a Lancer sooner!

As for mods, i've got number plater protectors and floor mats! :) I've got the car booked in for the Window Tint; just need to think if I should replace the CD head unit, or just use the standard setup with the USB connection and get a bluetooth car kit installed.

Don't know how to post a pic, so I'll update my profile soon.
