Hey guys, Just bought a second hand Mitsubishi Lancer ES Sport 2015 in Lighting Blue, completely stock with 96,000kms from a Mitsubishi dealership with 3 years warranty. I live in Australia and plan on modding the car in later years however for now just wanting to make the car look like the more premium models like the VRX or Ralliart versions.



So far I've added fog lights on a push switch, added an OEM touch screen radio head unit from a 2017 Lancer and just fitted an OEM reverse camera and got dealership window tint.





Planning on adding DRLs and some light bars in the top front grill, with added push buttons in the centre console from the VRX for the light bar and DRLs, also like to run the AUX cord from the back of the new head unit to the centre console somehow for a neat OEM look, finally adding mudflaps and weather shields to the windows.

I had a 1999 CE Lancer Sedan for 2 years and did lots of little upgrades and fixes to it over the years, so I'm familiar to the Lancers however I'm going to need some of the awesome help that is on the forum to get me through all of these DIY projects and do them correctly and neatly.

Even confirmed with Mitsubishi Australia it was the real last one...

Wanted BLUE but it was either silver or white in the GSR...

First post.

Just bought a 2017 Black Edition Lancer with 13000kms. Car looks great with the black wheels and spoiler too already.

First basic mod today after researching through your forum - I upgraded the stock headlight bulbs (which were rubbish) to Phillips HB3 and HB4 WhiteVisions. Obviously a simple install (apart from getting my big hands into those small spaces).

Hope to do a couple of other small things but overall am happy with the car in general as my 2nd car.

I may look into exhaust (been playing too much Need For Speed atm ) but not sure if it will sound good or not with the CVT.

Might also look into a speaker upgrade as the sound is ok but I'm used to better.

Look forward to getting some more great ideas from the forums.

Welcome to the forum guys, alot of good stuff on here. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I have lost more time than I'd care to admit reading some old and new posts haha.

I am excited to join after buying a red 09 ralliart. I'm Jason and I'm in Melbourne. So far I've Plasti dipped the wheels and roof black, partly because the clear coat has come off the roof!
Totally love my new rocket and look forward to learning how to mod it.
