Hiya pplz at ClubCJ, Twin here with an '08 CJ ES, 31K so far and until recently, blemish free (now has battle scar thanks to a windswept wheelie bin), nvm it still is my fave ride, scars and all.
What i'd like to do to this thing is make it a stealth monster (dreaming).
Reality - i'd like to make it into a nice all round package, some more ponies (no turbo, maybe later), bigger wheels and brakes to fill those wheels, the obligatory suspension tweak (lowered a bit) and fitment of a sway bar to the back. I'm by no means trying to set land speed records, i'd just like a nimble, fun to drive car. It wont be the most powerful but it will be agile
If i wanted burnouts i'd build a blown 7.0L monster (again, dreaming)

Welcome to ClubCJ. Rear sway on the ES can really take some beefing up. Got my eye on the new Whiteline rear sway (only just developed)

Thanks for the welcomes, good to see an aussie forum on these great looking and driving cars.
I had a chat with a guy from Pedders, he tells me that they offer the Whiteline sway bar (Rear) for the Lancer, is the best value for money mod one could make he reckons. No idea on $$$ though
Ahh, someone beat me to it lol, hey santa, whaddyareckon???

Yeah... Sam provided his ride as the R&D testbed for the Whiteline swaybar for the regular Lancer.
