Just bought my childhood dream car at 24

Postby nb8bdude » Sun Mar 08, 2020 9:56 pm

Bit of a late post, I got one of my childhood dream cars last month, a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X in 5-speed manual, with 96,000 kms on the odometer.

The Evo X I bought has been modified (as all Evos should be :P )

It's got a HKS intake, 1000cc fuel injectors, Meek catback exhaust, and a ECU tune from Meek Automotive, with a E85/ 98 dual map, currently making around ~260awkw on E85. When I was buying an Evo I was looking for a stock one for reliability reasons, but after driving a modified Evo I don't think I can ever go back. This is definitely the best car I've ever owned, and it's been amazing to drive.

How is the community here these days? It seems to have died down a bit lately looking at recent posts. :(

Very nice .
No doubt it goes like the clappers.

There is a treasure trove of info on the site from over the years and search will reveal all.
There is a few extra projects that have been added and there are more to come.
