What is your engine number? 4B11 or 4B12 (on rego papers)

Reason I said that, your tail lights are the 2.0L model's. Also, if you have a don't lid over the cup holders in the console nor under the aircon controls, it's 2.0

not being a prick, just something i've picked up on. also, thought I'd mention a member on another forum (MLGA) got jibbed by his dealer, his papers he signed at the dealership say 2.4 but he got a 2.0 :wink:

haha... i know ur not being a prick. lol.

well.... it looks like i have a 2.0L. time to make some changes. so dissapointed now. :( WEB OF LIES!!!!!!

Sucks about thinking it is meant to a 2.4 :( Lucky the 2.0 is awesome too :)

better let the dealer know! and get either a new 2.4l put in which should've been there in the first place or get more extras in installed as compensation!

So bit confused, you thought you had the 2.4L?... hope you didnt pay VRX money for it.

well i got the lancer just when they where running out the 2.0s. I know a guy at the dealership and he sed hed pull some strings and get me the new 2.4L at the runout 2.0L price and discount that price further... so i paid about $2600 for the VRX. lol

Sorry to here about your misfortune. Check your invoice. Mine listed the engine size. If you don't get anywhere with the dealer, ring Mitsubishi and complain about him.

After all, he is representing them.

Imagine that, you were 'sold' the 2.4 and recieved the 2.0

Engine Swap ftw?

What do you think they would do though if they find out there was a mistake and he was promised the 2.4 and was missled and gave the 2.0. Thats a fair big stuff up on their part!
