New Lancer VR Sportback Sydney Member

Hey All!

I got my Lancer back in Nov 2008 but didn't know this site was around until only recently.

It's my first Lancer I've owned myself (but I've driven others including a GSR). Been loving the car, worn it in nicely, done my defense driving course in it (getting ready for the advanced one soon), and I'm happy to find there is such a nice community that supports the CJ Lancers!!

It's a sportback and I got it over the sedan cause I wanted good storage space especially for 2x downhill/all terrain bikes I can fit into it and not have to worry about racks and not worrying about thieft of the bikes if it's parked in a public place.

Anyhow that's about it! see you all around in the forums.

Yeah, but nothing outlandish for the moment. These are just some minor things on the list for the time being.

1. EvoX Style Blackout (Done)
2. Carbon Fibre-Look B-Pillar Inserts
3. Alloy Pedals (Half done, just getting the accellerator one sorted)
4. EvoX Side Vents
5. Maybe some nice aftermarket 16" Wheels (Not really keen on the 17" as I drive on unsealed roads from time to time and the 17"s I found don't grab and feel as well as the 16"s do.)

And yeah Bandit! Go the sportbacks!! :D

The lancer is beautiful stock, and it is about passion not how many mods you have :)

Yup, sounds good, I'm gonna have to check with work though cause I said yes to some overtime on that day only yesterday, just gotta check if it's okay to pull out of that day and I'll let the forum know! :D

Well the overtime is always optional, but since I already said yes to it, I hope they haven't set any plans in concrete yet.
