Completely new and looking for some advice

Postby keeffaa » Tue Aug 08, 2017 1:31 am

Hi everyone,

I'm super new and recently upgraded from a beaten up old 4x4 to a 2010 VRX and I'm keen to learn as much as I can about my car and what I can do to make some performance improvements and learn about the modding process as a whole.

I'd really like to hear your thoughts on where I should start mods wise and how to build on those mods in the future.

Cheers

Gday and welcome to the forum
There is tons of info here about what you need.
Start with the basics with air intake. There is a thread that talks about aftermarket air cleaners and a RA air intake. Start there. Enjoy

Welcome Keeffaa! Advice from bumblebee is spot on! Next easiest is exhaust,, right from headers to high flow cat, to cat back
2 1/4 or 2 1/2 inch or axle back, ie freer flowing Muffler. Stacks of info in these forums. By the way RA inlet snorkel is steight swap and worth every cent. $175 new OEM.

Remember power isnt everything. You can have the most powerful vehicle around but if it doesn't handle and you have no idea on how to ride/drive /pilot it then you may as well give up before you begin
