Hey guys, just dropping by to say g'day.

I've got a 2011 fully stock Lancer Ralliart which is my daily. Drive it alot all week, so i'm chewing through the k's, but hey, I love it!
I'm getting the exhaust done in a couple of days! Decided on a 3" mid-section, resonator and twin cannons. I'm convinced it will be quite loud, but if it gets too much i'll swap to twin oval mufflers down the track. We shall see.

What you guys recommend for the next step when I can afford it... Stereo? It was the non-upgraded package. Down pipe? Intercooler? Intercooler upper piping? BOV?

I tried to attach a photo, but it says the file is too large. Oh well.

Cheers folks.

Welcome

Might want to try and external host for your photos like Photobucket, then post a link.

Sounds like a good start to the mods.

Yeah I think you need to work on that, maybe next time turn the camera on its side for landscape view?

lol.

Have you actually ever driven one Craig?

There is a big difference between the RA and a bog standard Lancer, like the VRX/LX/ES Etcetc. The AWD is what makes the RA stick to the road like nothing else.

My personal recommendation for mods is probably a boost pill and a tune, I know a lot of members on the forums have used this for their RA, and have had a lot of gains from it, however, it is entirely up to you and what you want to do with it, at the end of the day, it is your car :)

Changing the pipes in the engine bay is more a cosmetic thing than a performance mod, however be sure to check what you buy and make sure it's not the cheap ones off ebay! I have heard a lot of horror stories about leaks etc :\

I'm kind of leaning more towards cosmetic work as I feel for my needs the RA has a good amount of power. I drive it alot every day so I don't need much more from her.
I'd be looking at maybe an AEM upper intercooler pipe, turbosmart or Evo X BOV, possibly a Evo X intercooler. I likely won't upgrade the turbo to the Evo X.
What about the air filter? Any idea whether it would be worth upgrading the stock filter to a K&N? Or are they virtually the same?
