Newbie with some questions

Hi I am BarbC a recent arrival here at ClubCJ

I have a problem with the interior light where it won't operate with the Door Closed (Light stays on)

but I will take this to the right forum once I find it

Welcome to the forum, I posted something on the other thread for the lights.

I know its tempting to jump in and do changes, which is welcome and good. Just do some research first and coming here is a great start.

Not sure about the hatch but the sedan light switch is turned on/off through the latch catch. My guess that the latch switch is faulty. Hard to tell without looking at it. Try your local Mitsubishi dealer or auto electrician.

Try the three way switch on the roof light. Positions are on full time, on only if door is open and off full time.
Also on the front map light the centre switch can be turned on or off for it to work in unison with the roof light.
To use map light as a map light just press on whichever light you wish to use.
