having been a performance ford nut since passing my test 11 years ago Ive made my first non-ford car a Lancer Sportback. Im still not quite sure what the CJ stands for in this club, but looking over the forums it looks like im in the right place. My last car was a Focus ST320 which got stolen and written off so Ive banned myself from getting another after the money I have lost.
here are a couple pics.

Hi Nick good to meet you
The CJ is the model prefix here in Australia
The current model run here is actually based on a CY chassis
It's 3.30am here at the moment so not many awake except us shiftworkers LOL
Enjoy your new ride
Regards,
Chris.... :D

Just to clarify,
CJ is a code ONLY used in Australia.
This is an Australian centric forum

Strange you got a 1.8L petrol (4B10 engine).
There are not 1.8s here. We start at 2.0L (4B11) and 2.4L (4B12)

We have a number of tims here:

SX (deleted)
RS (deleted)
Platinum Ed (deleted)

The previous Lancers were CE, CH then CJ.
If we stay true to form, the next one will be CL... .

Welcome Nick from another Pom in Oz. Awesome looking ST. Not into fords but that looked good - guessing you were gutted when it got nicked.
This is a good forum for mod idea's so you'll have a pretty individual motor before long. Maybe worth going the other way to most n doing a sleeper with a few pony's under the hood but granny styling? Just a thought
- Self tuned - work in progress - tune revision #16_03
- GS 3 port controlled wooooot :)
- Lowered on Kings
- Black Evo X FMIC/ Evo IX BOV/ Depo HFC/ UR UICP
- Awesome self installed Alpine/JL Audio sound system
- Whiteline Rear Swaybar
