The highest powered FWD Lancer which I know broke a drive shaft at 500 Nm, but his transmission is still holding good and this is not low mileage car.

hmm werid.. ill do further testing. but my friend is using same location and its fine. Actually it's not fine. Put a heat shield on the manifold, also this braided steel line which goes behind the manifold should be routed on the other side, under the intake. I suppose this is the oil feed line. Also I think that the hose in which you T-ed is the brake booster line. You could not use the PCV line for vacuum/...

Painting the intercooler is not the smartest idea. It will reduce the cooling efficiency.
