It all depends on whether the dealership has an alignment machine. And if they do, how much they want to make out of their machine. Correct me if I'm wrong here mechanics... I believe that you have got a wheel balancing issue (scalloping on your tyres) rather than brake shudder. Brake shudder is felt through the brake pedal when braking. Steering wheel shudder is felt because of the wheels not being balanced properly, hence high...

Actually, it's more industry practice now Rob to change over discs rather than machining them.
