Because your changing an internal part of the engine it wasn't designed for? It's pretty understandable. I'm not saying it can't take it, swap it in and out etc. I am just saying how long will the engine reliably last with a bigger cam instead of the original. Bigger cams leads to more fuel and mor...

mmm. sounds like a wiring issue some where and trying to find those gremlins can be like finding a needle in a hay stack
seen it before where the outer case of the wiring is fine, but the wires inside are broken and can cause from vibration ,intermittent connection and cause all sorts of silly issues

nice find its a shame on the instrument cluster it doesnt tell you when the rear tail lights are blown about 40 years or so ago the subaru sports wagons with their LCD instrument cluster, they told you when you blew a bulb, i really liked that cluster, it put 4 green wheels on the car when 4x4 engag...
