I'm a long way off doing the front splitter, was just wondering if the center bit is and add on for the VRX with pods or if you need to replace the pods with a single lower bit that wraps the whole bumper?

Been told I need to fix up the CC coupe and sell it before I can spend money on the CJ.

I'll have to do the full wash/clap/cleans/wax treatment to my car before going to something like that LOL

Plus my yellow brakes and under bonnet bits might look a little cheesy in that company.

How hard is it to remove the center console?

I'm considering some carbon wrap for the bit around the manual gear leaver and maybe the doors under the AC controls.

Is it legal to run with that front tow hook in place?

I have a VRX with the pods which I understand can be removed, would you do this to add a front lip or can you get just the middle bit.

I've tried different search options what should I use to find the type I need and get an idea on cost.

Lots of good stuff here.

Good to know you can get a RA style rear and the stock muffler will be out of the way, so you can upgrade that later.

Looks like you take the glass out first to better access the tabs.

I thought they could be easily removed while on the car. I want to paint them separated from the mirror.

I have noticed how lite the plastic feels, compared to the solid feel of the ones on my CC coupe. Which I upgraded to electric and color coded to the body :)

Isn't the Kawana Auto One meet next Friday night March 6?
That's what the Facebook page says.

Removing Mirror Covers

Need to know how to remove the mirror skins as one has some scratches (from the previous owner) on it and I want to paint it.

I've looked online without luck.

Also for my old Lancer I got a Haynes manual, is there on for the CJ?

I agree it's not a good sign and maybe many customers in the know who would want a new CJ are getting a 5yo higher spec for way less knowing it's likely to run trouble free for many years, so why pay double just for that new car feeling? I didn't like the look of the 380 when it first came out, but ...

I thought the latest rumors was a car that would share the Pulsars chassis. Really hope the CJ is not the last and we get something new to look forward to in coming years with a range of hybrid and other engines.

But for now long live the CJ, lets see if they can make it a to its 10th birthday!

I'm well over 20, don't know why they rates are higher for me I've been with AAMI for many years and have a top rating. As for the CJ, yes the interior is a bit plastic, some like this especial with kids. But it also leaves loads of room for upgrades, if you know what you're doing. Would have loved ...

I normally don't notice it in the garage as I back in and when I leave I usually move the car out as soon as it starts up, so the exhaust fumes don't fill the house. Same thing parking, I turn it off as soon as I'm in enough to close the garage door. I only really notice it when I park at say the sh...
