I went into that factory menu, there is no option for a flash or reset to factory in there i might ask the bloke who made that video if he knows...

that is correct, in that case, is there any way to extract the firmware from someone elses unit to try and see if it makes a difference???

there is power to my unit (little orange LED flashes)

it just doesnt do what its supposed to with my headunit... ie... its the headunit most likely

Just a update where im at guys, Installed my stereo and canbus today (RDO WOOT!) The navigation(windows) side of the stereo was having all sorts of issues not responding to the touch screen, turned out to be a crap touch screen calibration (from factory) on the windows side... i had all but given up...

No Dramas, after so long I'm more than happy to wait!

this is true, there will be an overhang of the front bumper to the skirt of about 5cm though

the VR/VRX skirts are slightly different to the EVO ones but look about the same size

at the end of the day its all up to you.
