Wow, lucky you... On the topic of V8's and learners, each state has different laws about who can and can not drive a V8. As far as i know, we here in Victoria can drive anything we want on learners. I've seen an L platers driving his dad's Merc SL65 AMG for crying out loud. I checked it out at that ...

Did you know... That all the CJ Lancer models, even on the standard ES, the manual transmission has triple syncromesh on 1st and 2nd gears and double syncromesh on 3rd and 4th? That on the 09 Lancer models, the boot is shaped slightly differently (there's a more curvy bottom and a higher pressure ga...

I reckon it's just a 'mere puff' to be honest... load of marketing rubbish to buy what looks like 'stage 6 rubbish'...

If i was to buy one, i'd go for the RRM ECU piggyback system... at least you can be sure that they have done proper testing and have proper benefits...

Magnaflow Cat-Back

Hey all, I'm just wondering, anyone got the specially designed Magnaflow Cat-back system on their Lancer? If so, how much was it, and where do they stock it? Hopefully those in Melbourne can tell me where they stock it. Also was it easy to install, was it directly compatible with the OEM exhaust sys...

Touch up paint - champagne metallic colour

Hi guys, Just wondering, where can i get some good quality touch up paint that 100% matches the metallic champagne colour i have? And how much will it cost? After washing my car and stuff i found a couple of spots that were down to exposed metal (don't know how...) around the rear windscreen and boo...

Malaysian Lancer Facelift

Hi all, Came across this article the other time, may be a look at what the Aussie facelift will look like in future. I noted the sleeker front bumper (and foglights etc.) and the vinyl black piece coming standard... wonder if that will happen here... http://paultan.org/archives/2009/07/30/mitsubishi...

Yea, mine too say 55W and 65W on the packets for the XTreme Powers. However, i found the receipt differed and said 51W and 60W... weird, wonder which one it is... but i know the light is more intensive, so i guess it'll be 55/65.

Good to hear Sir VRX.

I just don't wanna damage my headlights so i am very cautious... i don't have that much money to spare on mistakes made =(.

Oh yes, also, anyone else run these headlights? What are your experiences with them? :D

Thanks for the advice. Firstly, no, i actually never saw how hot the lens got after using the OEM ones. And it's not unbearably hot, but i reckon it was a little hotter than the normal. As for defining hot - i mean to say when touching the lens after a short journey i noticed it seemed to be of a hi...

Philips XTreme Power Headlights

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum, but i've been reading ur posts and it's been very helpful to me thus far on my new 09 CJ Lancer ES. :D Just wanted to ask a question about the headlights I installed just a couple of days ago. I bought some Philips Xtreme Power bulbs, replacing the crappy OEM ones... ...
