DRLs are great, I'm looking into options for my car.

- built into the head lights
- replace the foglights type (expensive)
- shorter DRLs that work with the fog lights, (cheaper from china)
- generic ones fitted some where on the front of the car

Which type do you have?

Did this with my left over brake paint :)

Edit - just got back from SCA, picked up a few car care products and a free SCA towel for spending $20!

Lets us know how you go, surely Mitsubishi has the proper logo online some where or someone has wanted it for seats or something else.

Duct Tape!

But seriously I'd make sure there isn't something wrong with that ticking, something could have been pushed back.

Then look at a RA but you'll need a matching bonnet :)

I was concerned about that, probably another plus for paint over wrap or flocking.

I'm also wondering how the trim comes off without stuffing up the airbag thing.

Used some paper and a crayon to get a tracing of the VRX, still tinkering with Photoshop to tidy it up. For what I have planned it should work.

Just need some good paint to fill in the cutout once I get them done.

VRX badge

Okay just wondering what's the easiest way to get a printable copy of the VRX badge. I've tried taking photos then use photoshop to edit them but with limited luck, it's really hard to get the exact angle. I've looked for a good flat copy online, not a photo but from like a service manual or somethi...

You can buy CF replacement covers but you'll be paying for them. I agree the easies option is vinyl paint, cheap and looks okay, but with the hydro dip you can paint them any color/pattern you like including carbon fiber look. Wrap is okay if you know what you're doing. I just wish that flocking cam...

Just found this flocking wrap but can't find any on eBay, could be another option for pillars or parts of the dash to give that flocking look which can be removed later.

ETA - Edit to add, its common on other threads I'd be keeping the car at least 5 years, probably longer... put it this way I still have my last car and got it new over 20 years ago. I'm not thinking of doing the dash and I guess the benefits of doing anything to the plastic trim is they can always b...

LOL I'll change the title.

I know another option is vinyl paint, I just wanted something with a different texture than the stock beige ones.

Okay but if that brings up some sex site I'll be in trouble LOL ETA - some good info, wasn't sure what it's called. Not sure if I'd try it but will see if any local firms do flocking in SE QLD. Would be a unique look for a CJ. That said some material or wrap might be a lot cheaper and easier on the ...

I've been getting a weird 'choo-choo' sound some times, not sure if it's a leak or just the sound out the back of the after market axle back the previous owner had fitted. It only really happens in confined places like if you're accelerating next to a wall or road divider.
