If you buy the OEM Mitsubishi kit everything required comes in the kit All drilling templates, wiring diagrams,Fixtures and Hardware are in the kit,it's well worth the money I think. The control box plugs into the taillight loom in the VRX and the beeper sticks onto the inner guard in the boot with ...

fitting reverse parking sensors
Can someone give me an idea what is involved fitting factory reverse parking sensors. Things I am not sure about, how to drill the holes. How accurate do the holes have to be. Sometimes drilling plastic drills can grab and tear plastic or wonder. Do the installation instruction come with the unit? I...

i am off to the sign writers tomorrow to pick up a piece of chromed vinyl. They said it is not very flexible and I may have trouble trying to bend it around corners, but my best mates brother use to be a sign writer and he is going to help me apply it. Hopefully we don't screw it up. I hate things w...

Aspired that looks great. Now we need all the details, you can not be the only Lancer with an awesome chromed front grill. What brand of vinyl, did you fit it wet or dry, how did the vinyl stretch on the corners, does it look like real chrome, any idea how long it will last, how much and where did y...

The old Gemini, that brings back memories. I had a TX Gemini for 10 years. You must have a lead foot to have 5 engines. The lancer is in a different league to the Gemini, 30 years of technology and it shows. You have a lot of mods already, you will love or hate this club as it will give you great id...

That would look great a flat plastic insert. It would be more resistant to the weather and road conditions, e.g. stone chips then vinyl. I notice you put this in the sponsors idea competition, you have my vote. Good luck ! :D If there was a flat insert design it could be screwed to the bumper from t...

Plastic chroming
I have received some PM about my fog lamp surrounds. So I thought I would let everyone know you can chrome plastic. I believe it first has to be copper coated before chroming. It is just a matter of finding a Plastic chroma in your area. I think they cost me between $100-$200 AND TOOK 2-3 WEEKS.When...

I chromed the eyes of the fog lamps and painted the rest colour matched to centre ...

Yes my plates have holes at the top and bottom. There are no screws attaching plate. There are holes at the top i could use, but as I mention I wanted the plate between the grills. The way I see it if someone wants your plates a couple of screws will not stop them and most of the time they do more d...

Re: Rego Plate surrounds
I used 8 round stick on Velcro about 20mm in diameter, to hold my plate on. No screws required, the Velcro stops the plate rubbing against paintwork and when I wash the car it is really east to pull off to clean. Velcro is strong enough to hold plates but does not stop someone from taking them. I do...

Front parking sensors
My wife is having trouble with scraping the air dam spoilers on parking bollards and curbs. Has anyone fitted or know if fitting front parking sensors will sense items 190 mm from the ground or only solid objects like walls?
