As someone who has springs can i suggest coils. especially if its going to be a project car. Coils offer much more then the springs... the benefits outweigh the initial costs

hood scoop is easy to do :) just need to remove the central 3 metal clips and i think 4 plastic clips. then you can take the scoop off. best to have another set of hands with you because i remember mine hooking on something so needed another set of hands to make it easier.
