My mats are original RalliArt mats rear mats shaped no problems. Then again don't often have back seat passengers.
Note the RalliArt mats have an alternative set where rear mat goes from one side of the car over center hump to the other side.

Will stick to the 40, for slightly better cushion? and quieter running. Cant see any disadvantage over 30.
