Luckily, I like cruises just as much as track days, and the car has been tuned to be more efficient on the freeway.

I also remember an Evo thing at Winton on the same day, which is probably another reason why I'm solo flight from VIC.

Any other VIC members coming Al? I did post an EOI a few weeks back, but the one guy who was interested didn't have his car ready. For the others, it's probably too long (and costlly) to drive. I will re-post to see if there are any last minute participants. By the way, is there a spot where we can...

No Belle, I am not looking to sleep at anyone's house, just a nearby B&B or hotel/motel. Thanks for trying to help anyway.

Ok, that's sorted.

I am now getting last-minute upgrades to the car and hopefully they're done on time. Plus I need to book for accommodation, hehe

Once youve done un-timed Speed off the streets, your next step is to actually book it out and get timed sessions. bit more money, but after driving timed, ill never go pay for un-timed. your driving is a lot more interesting when you're chasing your own tail. Are there rules against timing your own...

Any rough number of participants at the moment? I am currently at 50:50 as I am still waiting for some parts to come. When everything is delivered, I will get them installed next week.

Not AWD, that's a Subaru term. AWC for the win (S-AWC in your case)!

You are spot on with responsible driving, Belle, and no need to feel guilty. I do trust the respect CCJ members will have for each other at the track, and I'm sure the Z club has a similar thing going, but I'm worried about the friends-of-members tagging along with their own rides. I presume there's...

Considering the other cars that are more prone to spinning in the rain, now I'm thinking twice about it. I might just wait it out till next week and see what the forecast is.

Belle, can this actually be cancelled due to poor weather? I am coming from VIC and will be booking accommodation so I need to have an idea somehow.

Thanks

Nice to see another RA from VIC. PM Irving (ofey) so he can add you to our FB group and you can attend our meets. No offence to CCJ girls, but most lady-driven cars tend to have poor suspension, because they don't tend to slow down on humps or ramps. If it doesn't feel solid, or if you hear any ratt...

If I'm not mistaken, it's 24 km. I insisted on the full tank which the dealer was trying to get away with despite us shaking hands on it. So they brought it to the station and perhaps did some road test before handing it to me.

Anything over 30 km I consider a demo.
