The facelift is awfully hideous. First thing I'd do if I were to buy this would be to swap it back to the old one.

What I'm most worried about is the oil they put in your car. They normally use semi-synthetic for NA Lancers, so I specify the full synthetic 5W-30 whenever I get my car serviced.

I'd probably flush that oil to be sure and top it up with the good stuff if I were you.

Firstly, the website you have is American, so I'm not sure if Australia will get the update at the same time. Knowing that our country is one of the late receipients of facelifts, it might not be till early next year. And don't count on dealers telling you of an upcoming model as they need to clear ...

When I looked closely, the MY14 mirrors with the indicators have a different shape compared to the older ones, so I doubt that it's a simple swap of covers and wiring the lights.

It just sucks how you have to pay annually to run custom plates in Sydney, as opposed to a one-time fee in Melbourne and some other states.

The number of kms isn't that big, but you can probably find out when it was registered to the dealer. You can get a discount by way of warranty balance. For instance, if a new car normally has 5 years, and that particular demo first had its rego six months ago, then you only get the remaining 4.5 ye...

With slotted rotors, I'd go for DBA. They're T3 front and T2 rear, with QFM HPX pads on all four sides.

I can try grabbing the part numbers for you when I find the boxes.

Bigger rotors for the Ralliart are quite tricky. Firstly, the stock rims are not gonna clear. You can get Evo X wheels, but need to roll the rear guards because they're wider. Poe_sniper has done a backdoor conversion to Brembo rotors, a costly, complex but effective setup that's almost as good as t...

Eibach Pro Kit offers the same ride quality as the stock springs while giving the Goldilocks drop, not too low, just right. Some others still find it too high though, and go for the Sportline that drops a bit more.

White Ralliarts do look nice, as long as they're washed every two days, hehehe.

It's well worth the upgrade. Don't buy into the criticism that the SST isn't as fun as a manual; that's just not true.

if the sst die then yes huge bill you cant replace parts, mitsubishi will only sell the sst as a whole and that will put you out of pocket, clutch kits themselve are about 2-3k and then there is the installation and not many places that i would trust to do it properly. better off waiting and buying...
