Re: VRX Badge Position
Hey Patch, I've got a VRX Sportback but it looks like you have the sedan. Mine also most likely has had the badges replaced before. This might help. Or more specifically this . The manual I have (MY11) has 38.0mm instead of 44mm, 59.0mm instead of 44.1mm & 40.1mm instead of 42.0 mm. The RALLIART...

Re: Wanted to buy MMCS version 1
Yeah storage temperature is typically -40℃ to +80℃ and operating temp is usually either -10℃/+40℃ , -10℃/+60℃ or 0℃/+40℃ or similar. It's more about the rate of change as sudden cooling might cause damage...

Re: Wanted to buy MMCS version 1
The effect of temperature could be several things, from de-lamination of the digitizer panel or cable (presuming it is a flexible PCB ribbon type), to misalignment or corrosion of the digitizer cable connector(s), or it could be a general overheating of the digitizer circuitry (the units have a fan ...

Re: Active Victorian members roll call
The main role is to organise cruises and meets. Troy, this would certainly mean that a moderator whom does so would be personally liable if it was determined that their organisation of an event was contributory to someone's loss or damage. Whether a member does this officially or unofficially proba...

I take it your Evo X is Red:

Re: Wanted to buy MMCS version 1
If you do use a wrecker, you might want to make sure there won't be any hassles returning it if the unit is "not fit for purpose"... YMMV

Re: Wanted to buy MMCS version 1
Yeah right, Ozyvoll. I think I remember seeing the relevant post. Sorry I wasn't able to respond at the time. Not being able to hit the Accept "button" must be a real bugg3r..! *facepalm* I should mention my short-term plan is probably to disassemble and then clean the touch digitiser conn...

Re: Wanted to buy MMCS version 1
I have an A-02 unit in my MY09 VRX. It's touch calibration is dodgy at the best of times. So much so, that I haven't yet been able to get into the service menu. I also don't know if it is the original unit. There is some stuff that doesn't seem to work, e.g. Variable & Rain Sensitive wiper contr...

Re: Racing Stripes?
Yeah, the XU-1's were fun. Had a few around my circles - complete with fluffy dice. Just wrong. One day, in something that somewhat resembles a forum, people will reminisce fondly about their or their Dad's CJ... Hopefully they're worth a bit then too!
