I have not come across that problem, having worked on quite a number of both high and low km CJ Lancers. Maybe it might be the weather conditions that adversely affect the wheel nut's/stud's integrity?

I completely agree with Cam here. Mobile repair guys generally aren't trained panel beaters/spray painters, they are just short course trained. I have seen good ones and many more bad ones - it does happen to look like it wasn't a very good spray job. Nevertheless, try a clay bar. Hopefully there is...

No matter what car it is, paint is now softer these days and much more prone to paint chips. :) As the industry changes to save lives, costs and the environment - it has changed from the old days of solid two-pac paint to a water based two-pac paint. In short, that is why our paint is thinner and mo...

No worries. Always glad to help. The Greddy is an excellent unit, I'm loving it every day that I drive my car :) And I'm sure you'll love it too.

Sorry, I should rephrase, 0w40 is too thin for our Lancers (NA) on start up in the cold. But yes, it is thicker once at operating temperature than 5w30.

0w-40 is too thin. I agree. However, 5w-30 should be alright. I run Motul 5w-40 fully synthetic in mine since the first service, and have had no complaints.

Topic: Question. Is wheel alignment included in the dealer service?

Glen, I would recommend a 4 wheel alignment. Though the steering goes through the front wheels (thrust alignment) the back wheel should be done as well just to keep the back tyres wearing evenly. Also, our Lancers are designed to have 4 wheel alignments. It should not cost any more than $20 for a 4 ...

I got quoted 250 for a mild steel cat back with muffler, and 800 for a mandrel bent stainless steel cat back. I did not end up doing it though, as I got offered a Greddy exhaust shortly after. I have however seen their work personally and it is good.
