Video on how to remove A pillar interior trim

I just bought a hardwire kit for my dashcam (Viofo A119S).

Before I go and install it, I want to see some videos on how to remove the interior trim for the A pillar.

I've searched youtube but haven't found anything useful.

Does anybody have a link to some useful videos on how to remove it. Thanks

Re: Your Perfect Ten Car Garage?

Yeah man. Left some room to move :)

Apart from the guard, I will also do an underground car park with chauffer who brings the car out for me via a car lift.

Re: Your Perfect Ten Car Garage?

I'm not greedy. Just 5 cars in my garage. In no particular order. 1. Evo X (for obvious reasons) https://i.imgur.com/u84PVs6.jpg 2. Mazda 6 Wagon (For family) https://i.imgur.com/oV4bUJU.jpg 3. Landcruiser (for camping) https://i.imgur.com/Ly0pJrL.jpg 4. Datsun 240Z (for nostalgia) https://i.imgur.c...

Re: WTB: Blue Lancer Sedan side skirts

Email
Hi EAP,
Are you able to source a pair of Lancer CJ sedan side skirts in blue?

Response
Hi no sorry we only can do what we have in stock.

I love the car but I don't like talking to the dealers :)
Your local Mitsi dealer may be surprising =)

Re: WTB: Blue Lancer Sedan side skirts

Thanks Quismiff. I've seen them, but they don't seem to do them in blue even though they do them in some other colours.

I might follow up with them to see if they can get a blue set and how much shipping might cost.

Do you know how much a pair would cost RRP?

WTB: Blue Lancer Sedan side skirts

Wanted to Buy: Blue Lancer Sedan side skirts

I've been looking on ebay and gumtree but they are hard to find.

Let me know if there are any reputable wreckers I should check out (sydney). Thanks

Re: Interior Front Reading Lights

How do you get that damn blade connector out of the roof, that four way clip is the devil.

Has anyone managed to un-clip the gray connector without removing the interior roof lining?

Re: CVT is sh*t

I just want to chime in here regarding the CVT system. While most of the discussion has been focused on the hardware side of things, the other side of the equation is also the software. The CVT system adapts to your way of driving. That is, if you are an old lady driving a CVT, it accelerate slower ...

@Quismiff Thanks for the clarification. It's clearer now. I think I got all the information I need to make this happen.

Thanks everyone.

Re: VRX wheels on an ES Lancer

40 is the sidewall as a percentage of the width of the tyre, so 40% of 225 is a 90mm side wall, 45% of 215 is 97mm side wall more here. You could go upto a 225/45 for a 101mm sidewall. 235/40 would be 94mm side wall. Why do you say it would look plump? On a related note. The smaller the side wall, ...

Re: VRX wheels on an ES Lancer

@Lancer1993 I've found using 225/40R18 on my VRX the speedo is about 5% out On stock 16" I find my speedo is about 4km/h out compared to my GPS. The main season we use the 225/40 over the 215/45 is cost and the 215/45R18 is not a common tyre Yeah fair enough. BTW. Just looking around I find thi...

Re: ABS MODULE RECALL PETITION

I had an ABS module fail with a 2008 Lancer. It happened outside of the 5 year Warranty period though. I was servicing with NRMA at the time, and I think I got it replaced with a used one for about $600. Since it was discovered during a rego check and the rego was running out in a matter of days, I ...

Re: VRX wheels on an ES Lancer

@Quismiff Thanks for that. Good to know I've got a few options to go with in terms of tyres. I've read some tyres posts around here but without context of what type of ride they were going for, I didn't know which one would suit my needs.

Re: VRX wheels on an ES Lancer

@ReeceCozaa Thanks for the offer. Unfortunately, I'm pretty set on the VRX wheels. I think they complement the Lancer so well.

I'd be interested in anyone else getting rid of (sell) their VRX wheels though :)
