Re: Replace Instrument Cluster
Wouldn't be easier to change the colour of the LED's rather then changing the whole unit? Is there anyone in Melbourne that does this sought of work. Personally my biggest beef with the instruments. Is its impossible to read the speedo due to reflection in daylight, when the sun is at a variety of a...

Re: Selling 18mm OEM rear swaybar and lower control arms.
Thanks Mooman, Great bit of info: Makes a lot of sense. Sounds like original would be best suited to me. Pity Mitsu: stopped fitting them.
Only objection is I understand it will stiffen ride!?

Re: Selling 18mm OEM rear swaybar and lower control arms.
Notice as stated by Mooman, adding a rear sway bar reduces over steer. Yet my understanding from arguments elsewhere is, that a rear sway bar will cause the rear of the car to break away earlier, causing me to stay clear of fitting one. Realise improves handling and stiffens ride slightly. My knowle...

Re: is this worth it?
$175 Fitted myself. Undo two clips at front, pull the old one out, push the new one on. Replace clips, one will have to be replaced with a longer one. Though just the one will hold it down till you get around to doing it.. Got one from Autobahn. Holes in the front panel, my own design. There are alt...

Re: is this worth it?
Some months ago. Purchased RA snorkel from Mitsu: dealer $175 and Whiteline front strut bar, plus Quick release kit from Autobahn $230. My car is a MY15 CJ ES sport. Ra snorkel is a must have, does so much!. strut bar while not obvious does improve handling, and steering feel but that's subjective, ...

Re: SUMP PLUG REPLACEMENT!
If that's a washer it's wrong, appears to be a ferrous metal or maybe aluminum, definitely not copper!
Buy anew one its cheap enough, cheaper still go to dealer ask for one, look at it and compare them.

Should always make sure surface is free of debris especially polish, wax etc:. Metho: will usually give you an acceptable surface.
Item you couldn't stick will need new double sided tape. Bit of warmth from a hair drier can help bonding.

Looks like they didn't mask off, just gave important bits a wide birth.
Lot of missed areas but apparently works fine and that's all that matters.

Loose weight, eat less or diet. That way you take the weight savings with you when you change cars,

Re: Sound Deadener
To be honest i havent had time to have a decent look under the car. The guys who did it have a ramp system they drive the car onto and they stand under the csr and spray up onto the car. If they did do the exhaust and i doubt they did there is no horried smells from the exhaust buring the spray. I ...

Re: Sound Deadener
Bought my (db) sound level meter from Jaycar approx $100 Has variety of reading methods, they also have a cheaper one. What parts exactly have been sound deadened? Presume sprayed! and what else! Sound deadening boot makes huge difference. Did when I did mine and lid now closes with a thud (gentle) ...
