the problem you will find is the Lancer has a maximum tow ball weight of 100kg, which is not very much! with a normal trailer most of the weight is balanced on the axle, that's why you can grab them and pull them around. there will be a lot of weight on the front overhang of the Lancer wagon!

unfortunately no, I believe you can only set it if it's under a certain number of kms, or blank. I really don't think a dealer would notice, it only shows up when you do meter diagnostics and they probably won't go there unless there is a problem with the cluster.
