they pull straight off. get a finger under the top edge and pop em. pulled mine off when i installed my dash cam wiring up behind the air bag and roof lining.

the sst beeps inside the car to let you know that its in reverse (apparently the tone changes if it doesnt go into gear properly too). i just find it super annoying as when i get in to drive its just a constant series of beeps. bing bing bing, you turned the key on, bing bing bing bing bing, the doo...

vehicle was already sold so we had to do it anyway to get a roadworthy. it was an always there problem. but your problem may be something where with the right conditions it will happen. get jammed or whatever. its the last thing it could be other than a fault with the vacuum pump. brakes are a close...

you had right of way for sure. likely if you hadnt slowed down and stopped he would have just followed you straight through. if its a hard road to cross (for whatever reason/heavy traffic) id probably do the same.
its not like either of you were going particularly fast.

just call the local dealer and ask if they have a parts department you can talk to over the phone. they are able to give you the part numbers and prices over the phone so long as you can provide the VIN number of the car
