Air Vent Issue?

Ok the other day I noticed the far left air vent was not working, the outer control was not connecting with the vents, I then noticed there was a gap than is not on the other vents and it feels loose. I got the vent working but its a bit touchy. http://www.clubcj.net/cached_images/1430258012_13_PB_8...

Wasn't planing any night driving as I'm the only driver, so was planing 3 day. There isn't much phone coverage out side of towns going through central NSW so there isn't much we can do there. I know how cold it can get, even now here in QLD it's really cooled off at nights now. Many years ago when I...

I've seen cheaper car-bras on eBay. Thanks for the advice, not sure if I'd cover the front and I don't like car-bars as they protect such a tiny part of the bonnet, besides I do have plans to do something with the bonnet and maybe bumper later on. If I'd just spent a packet of cash on the front I'd ...

Wasn't sure if I could go and I'm sorry but I can't this time around as we have a 5000km round trip planned for June or July to Adelaide in the CJ.

I agree but it does depend how dark, some go overboard and the rear lights are black and all but useless. A light tint where they are still viable from a set distance and legally you should be fine. Just find out what those legal requirements are if you're worried. Mine are tinted so light unless yo...

Well you shouldn't blacken your number plate, might get pulled over for that one :) I used a very light spray on tint for my rear lights and center brake, just a couple of layers to make it a little darker and it looks good. You'll need to mask the hell out of the car or take parts off. Another opti...

Guess that's not bad considering a mechanic was going to charge me about the same to replace a head casket in a 4G93.

Is the new engine the same size/spec and did you get the clutch fixed at the same time?

So you mean the thickness of the blades, not the length. Not seen that before but haven't taken much notice of the stock ones on mine. When I replace mine it will be with something like this. Tridon Flex Blade Wiper, put some on my old coupe and they work and look great. http://www.supercheapauto.co...

If you look at the edge of the glass you can see the difference.

And again it all depends on how much sun the car gets but you for best long term for the interior UV on the back windows is advised.

But the upside of just doing the front is it's way cheaper, cost me just $100 for the fronts.

The glass is darker, there is no tint film on the rear side and back window.
