Well having lived the Type R dream, its a great car. Who ever says they lack power are dreaming. They're a quicker car then the RA. Boost may be fun, but VTEC is better. :) Also, the interiors in the Hondas are so much better. Better feel, better parts and all that. You sit in it and it feels more e...

The Magnatec was the usual 10W-40

Picked it up on sale for $25.00 from repco :D

The new stuff they got, the "fuel saver" is just a thinner version at 5W-30.

My books don't have the change the timing belt bit. Infact It mentions nothing about timing belts at all. But if you do have one, tell them to change it at 90K. Better safe then sorry. DIY oil and filter changes are easy. Only three regular tools that most households have is required: 1. Socket Set ...

An Oily Experience

Before anyone says anything, yes, I know! The service intervals are 15K. Anyways, I don't personally trust this and think that the maximum should be 10K. The reason being is that my missus had a Viva with a 15K interval, and only after 20K on the odo, things started going bad. So, after only 7K in t...

LOL, same! Only a month old and locked in at 8.99%.

Isn't a comparison rate meant to include all fees and charges?

It can be pretty tricky working out what comes with each car, as some manufactures (i.e. Mitsubishi), have a tendency to change things all to often, and come up with "special" models. Activ is just an ES when it hits the dealership, Mitsu send them a package and the workshop throws it on, ...

There was a MY11 SX parked next to my car on the lot, a sportback though, mine being a sedan. And the only difference I could tell was that mine had bluetooth as a standard feature. SX seems really good features wise. Has the blacked out tail lights (black altezza's), VRX spoiler, Crap 16"wheel...

AdamD, and his MY12 SX

Hi all, Just had my new car a week. Picked her up with only 6kms on her. Stoked about that. I know that she is a MY12, but I've looked at the plates and VIN on the car and they state she's a CY model, not a CJ. Never heard of the CY. CAn anyone shine some light on this subject? Cheers Adam
