Re: Tow bar wiring

I bought my towbar and wiring as a kit from "aranda towbars" it came with a wiring kit with an electronic controller that takes the load off the oem wiring. Got it delivered for under $400 and fitted it myself. Not too tough to do and works a treat

Re:

If the engineers designing the electrical system thought that in factory form the car needed it, they would have put it in. Except the Lancer has been built to a price bracket and corners have been cut in a number of areas including sound deadening or the lack thereof. Sadly the vast majorty of car...

The wheel arches it is layed on pretty thick and tou can see how it has rippled up from excess amounts of it. Im not c...

Re: Sound Deadener

Save weight by removing the passenger seat and seatbelts. Rear seats and seat belts. Wheel jack..spare wheel. Glove box. Dash. Carpets. And other non-essential stuff eg door trims. Speakers. Im sure theres more you can do if your really serious about weight reduction :lolhit:

Re: Sound Deadener

To be honest i havent had time to have a decent look under the car. The guys who did it have a ramp system they drive the car onto and they stand under the csr and spray up onto the car. If they did do the exhaust and i doubt they did there is no horried smells from the exhaust buring the spray. I h...

Re: Sound Deadener

The whole bottom of my lancer has been sprayed including wheel arches.
When i get the sound deadening sheets fitted i will get the 4 doors and the boot done. I cant see the necessity to get the seats and carpet removed for sound deadening sheets installed on the floor.
