As long a it bends enough for the guard shape.

I was thinking 3mm might be a bit thin.

I might get the 6mm, just need suitable bolts, probably something stainless and a pattern to make them.

Maybe a strip of LEDs for the bottom edge LOL

Finally found a local plastics place that can supply them in yellow, 4 sheets at 30x50cm but they only can get it at 6mm thick, $88.

Would this be too think?

Most I've seen on eBay are 3-4mm.

I might end up just buying ones made for the CJ if I can't get the raw material at a good price.

I just found these LED flaps LOL

Clark Rubber has well rubber and no PVC plastics, called them today. Along with a few other places. Been checking online and might try a few other places tomorrow.

Looks like the cheapest will be around $100 on eBay.

Thanks, but I need details. Might have to get these of eBay, but it's still over $100 plus I'd need to cut them to shape. The government goes on about buying local but I've lost count of the number of times I've had to turn to eBay because no where local has what I want when it comes to car parts or...

Was going to wash mine but the cyclone heading this way might take care of that, reminds me I need to fuel up tomorrow... just in case. I did finally fix the power window on my Dads Pathfinder, the passenger switch had not been working 100% for months so took it apart and almost lost the tiny parts ...

Sorry didn't realize I posted in the wrong section, thought I'd selected exterior. Can some one move this thread? Wait, LEDs on the rear flaps, maybe you're on to something. Yes I know the CJ never came with flaps but I meant in general one of the first mods most do is to ditch them. But my Coupe ha...

DIY Rally Mud Flaps?

I want to do some mud flaps for my VRX. Yes I know most here usually remove them but I'm not most people. Now I know you can get some proper Ralliart ones on eBay but first they are expensive for a few bits of plastic and two I don't want 'Ralliart' on my non RA Lancer. I know you can buy the proper...

Welcome Tash are you my twin? I also have a 93 coupe which also broke down, so took the plunge into a 09 VRX. I still have the coupe which I plan to fix and sell off to help fund some mods to the CJ. Yes fixing the stereo should be easy, unless its an internal problem. First check should be the spea...

I don't DL the F1, haven't needed to until now.

I really think Daniel has a shot at the title, Mark in a couple of seasons ago when it come down to just a few points at the end of the season. Last year Daniel showed he was the best of the rest coming 3rd after the 2 Mercs.

I really wanted a white VRX but ended up with a black one, really need to get something done like this to restore the black paint. That aside I've been considering plasti-dip or wrap to give the car a new look and help protect the original paint.

And because ch9 screws TBBT fans by should them weeks after the US, worse over the xMas period. The AU F1 will be fine, loads of coverage, probably the best all year, same for the first V8s in less than 2 weeks, see how it goes after that. I'm getting a little bored with the V8 and hope Jamie Whincu...
