Not sure how this is going for numbers, but maybe because this is a semi-expensive purchase, this GB could be stretched over a few months to give people time to budget? I know I'd be in this for sure if I could pay in something like 3 months.

It's random There's some variation depending on the machine and how the balls start and how they're "shuffled". But it's pretty well random. Could just pick 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 ... at least then it'd be easy to know if we won
