I did that pete, disabled the siren using the siren key, it only quietens it. It doesnt shut it up. If you watch the video you can see me re-enable the siren. You can still hear it making noises before i re enable it.

OBDII Vehicle Speed Logging

Hey Guys

Just curious as to if the OBDII port shows actual vehicle speed compared to what is shown on the speedometer? Ie would the OBDII port give a reading which would be similar to tracking the vehciles speed via GPS?

Cheers guys

best be hoping they dont dick ya for anything on ya car. My mate got dicked for even being at the skids even though he was driving a brand new corolla with no mods. fined him $100 for just being in the area at the time

I think its kind of stupid if they do ping me for this.

Its like getting a parking ticket for parking over a line and then realising once you step out of the car and go back to it to correct it.

Fingers crossed all goes well and the guy at the red light camera office has a bit of discretion

taken from the vic roads website re lane markings: Single continuous dividing lines A single continuous dividing line means you can cross it to enter or leave the road, but you must not overtake or U-turn.
