Just sounds like a grand generalisation for someone who doesn't use/like the brand. Go ahead and use whatever you like so long as you get good results from it

If it is the timing chain it may not necessarily need to be replaced altogether, sometimes they just need a readjustment/re-tension which doesn't take long at all. A dealership here told me it would be up to 3 weeks to get another one in. That said, that dealer is a pack of morons too! Hope its cert...

Don't need approval from anyone mate. If you want to have a crack at at then go for it! So long as you create the thread in the appropriate category, probably under the "lighting" category, no one will say anything to stop it

On top of the already mentioned xr6/f6/g6e turbo, if you wanted to head down the v8 path a gt, clubby etc would get there without excessive mods. Jap wise has me thinking skyline, s15, sti wrx or, my personal favourites, FD RX-7s and Mitsu GTOs! Maybe not hugely reliable though :P

I understand these have already been sold but please have a look at the selling/trading rules in this thread: http://clubcj.net/viewtopic.php?t=5916

As you'll be able to see this meets Zero of the criteria for posting/selling. Just FYI for future reference

It's not all doom and gloom. All things considered, the SST is a pretty flash bit of kit. It is quite sophisticated and versatile too. Not to mention it borrows this bit of gear fron the top of the line MR. No its not for everyone, but its also one of the biggest selling points of the car. You can g...

Haha yes - Ofey is an extremely busy man! He does a lot for the club out of his own time. Best bet is to keep an eye out for him in the chat box here

Don't forget Ofey, our resident chief buyer. Sources OEM parts at reduced prices for CCJ members. You will of course pay postage from Melb to Perth but for parts which you're struggling to source It's worth considering. Have a peek in the "OEM parts for CCJ members" thread for more info. H...
