Re: RA vs NA?

A tuned RA with an EvoX intercooler and turbo will definitely get you to 230wkw and for RA owners I would call that a sensible mod list. But if you want a stick shift and reasonable performance go for the 2.4 manual with the mods you will find detailed on the clubcj forums. There are some quick atmo...

Re: Merlin tune day Brisbane

A huge thank you shout to Wade for organizing the weekends tuning session. It was very successful from my point of view and I feel pleased to have been able to help fellow Lancer enthusiasts. Some cars needed a little help where the drivers had fallen victim to advertising hype. I have to say the st...

Dan, somewhere between 12 and 1pm would be my best guess at this point.

Re: Merlin tune day Brisbane

There are now enough people wanting a tune for me to definitely stay overnight and continue tuning Sunday morning.

Re: Merlin tune day Brisbane

COO86L, that would be very much appreciated.

There seem to be an increasing number of people wanting a tune this time around, so I may include Sunday as well.

Re: Lancer Ralliart for P plater with Exemption

Dont know, but certainly worth looking into.

The Ralliart is a good safe car, good power, good brakes, good handling, no vices and plenty of airbags.

I would not be shy of getting an early one either - after a trans check.

Merlin at the 2016 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

Hi Lancer fans, As some of you may know, I have once again made the journey to Colorado for the annual Pikes Peak hill climb. This year was the 100th anniversary of the event and as usual it was an amazing motorsport event to be involved with. My task was to tune the Evo8 driven by Australian tarmac...

This makes me laugh when I think I am doing well to get 400km per tank of e85 with my Evo9. And that is pretty good going for an evo on ethanol.

Thunderbolts Way mentioned previously may be the old Pacific Hwy just north of Bulahdelah, if it is not, then do both. Preferably early morning. If doing Bathurst, then go to Sydney via Oberon and Jenolan caves. From Sydney heading north, take the Old Pacific Hwy from Berowra to Hawkesbury Bridge.
