I run mine @ 38psi. Same tyres as you on VRX rims. @ 38psi its notably harder than 32psi but if you take corners slightly harder 36psi is the recommended. I do mostly country highway hence my higher pressures.

Make sure its sealed at the bottom. The service departments we send my Lancer and Outlander too can't get it right.The box is suppose to feel very tight at the bottom. If its loose there its not locked in at the bottom.

You'll get used to it. My CJ was my first time back in a manual Took me a while to get it smooth. I did stall it yesterday though (left it in first when I stopped at the side of the road.. lucky noone saw me :()

Ah, thanks for that.. but would there be any performance issues?? Since I suppose it would restrict airflow a bit more or perhaps reduce the induction noise?
