brakes are a closed system. there should be no leaks. and no air in it. Water will seep in over time but that is only because the fluid is designed to absorb moisture from air. this is fixed by flushing the fluid every so often. The brake system in our car requires a glycol based brake fluid and not...

CVT's are around 600-900 at wreckers. should be ok providing there is no damage to the unit and all fluid is still there. and no missing dipstick.

i've seen 5k-7k from dealer.

fuel does become stale. and looses its effective RON rating over time. Personally i avoid E10 wherever possible now. as most service stations that advertise 91 E10 is actually 89RON or lower then becomes 91 as ethanol boosts the octane rating for the fuel. I have had quite a few bad batches of fuel ...

I have sort of dry fitted the calipers whilst underneath one day with the 16"s and there is no way that i think it can fit. also needing a bigger disc with a bigger surface for pads.
They are almost twice as big in every direction.

looking forward to the group buy for brake gear :-)

I don't think my stock 16 alloys will fit the RA calipers front.
they are roughly twice the size in comparison to ES calipers.
I have some 18" BBS wheels in storage i will need to find some good shoes for em.

I have managed to source some RA front and rear calipers from a RA member who upgraded to a big brake kit. (much bigger than the post above) I am hoping to do this perhaps when our group buy comes in.. :-) I understand the the front calipers simply bolt on. however is anyone running upgraded rears? ...

Blame the EPA. By allowing exhaust gases to go back into for re-combustion it means the catalytic converter can heat up quicker on cold start. Some countries\states are very strict on EGR and emissions testing (ie California) they have a plethora of emissions specific tests. South Australia is very ...
