Re: COVID19 Lancer Prep
Still debating about going shopping for the basics or doing online. Not planning to disconnect my battery just in case we do need to go and get something, is Bunnings still open? I know they have home delivery but paint and timber can't get bought online currently. Even things like mowing the lawn w...

COVID19 Lancer Prep
So thought I'd start this thread to see if others are doing anything to maintain their ride while many of us are staying at home and not going out every day. Is there anything we should be doing, especially if we are self quarantining for 2 weeks. I'm only going shopping when needed, when last Wedne...

Re: New Evo x hood
So not cheap, especially if you add a RA rear bumper and new exhaust to the list.

Re: New Evo x hood
Not cheap, guess many at wreckers are damage as the majority of crashes involve fount end crashes.

Re: Pajero Sport Cluster
Even if the physical fit was the same I think the issue might be software.
I'm sure some one is working on it, maybe if the Lancers being made in Asia get the update them at least we know it will fit the dash, so yes maybe we will get this, cool!

Pajero Sport Cluster
Will the new Mitsy Pajero Sports digital cluster fit the CJ Lancer? Or and digital instrument cluster? I know its probably a long shot and expensive since they are just out and the chances of finding a used one at the wreckers. https://s31.wheelsage.org/format/picture/picture-gallery-full/m/mitsubis...

Re: What DONT you like about your Lancer?
Yes I know it can be tuned, one day... I've got a 2008 Lancer VR. I think the pickup of this car is so laggy very slowish. However sometimes its better at times. So i really dunno if its an issue with my car. Overall i still feel they could have made these Lancers a bit faster But yes I agree, my 4B...

Re: How do I measure PVC pipe?
Ended up retuning the 40mm and got some 32mm, with a couple of layers of duct tape it would be a good fit with the vac hose. I got a couple of bend pieces and already have some 32mm pipe so will them to join the bits through the bucket lid, which I might reinforce with a layer of plyboard. I need it...

Re: How do I measure PVC pipe?
I think you'll find PVC pipe is an internal measurement as the walls are thicker than exhaust pipe steel. Its also used as a way to measure water flow.

How do I measure PVC pipe?
So got some PVC fittings in Bunnings today to build a 'cyclone' dust bucket for my table saw, measured the vac pipe and got 40mm, checked on the shelf and the docket says 40mm but when I got home I thought they were a bit big so measured them and its about 48mm internal diameter. https://www.bunning...

Re: Nice Review of the 2015 CF
I was talking top up with some cars now getting 400-500km range, drive till its 50%, stop for a break and cheat it up to say 80% will get you to the next stop with range to burn. The idea being you top it up at every stop but it 10 min or a couple of hours. And yes those times are getting better all...

Re: Nice Review of the 2015 CF
There was news story over the weekend about a 1000km range battery, so it will happen. And if you want to keep your CJ there are companies taking Tesla parts and modernising old petrol cars to all electric. Charging with a fast charger shouldn't be an issue, start on a full over night charge when on...
