Yes I think you could be right about the colour change after being in service for a few thousand Kms, looking at the ford oil change it is quite possible it had that green look when it first went in.

Its the same animal Mitsubishi Italy use it when doing a sst transmission oil change. Just a point yesterday when I inquired about the oil filter I also asked about the oil for these transmissions and they said they don`t supply the oil ?? but they can do the service for you, seems like ford have it...

Castrol BOT341 I believe is the OEM fill so I think they would have trouble knocking you back on the drive train warranty, the problem is getting ones hands on the stuff.

Another beef is that the transmission filters in europe cost in the 25 to 45 euro range another rippoff
