Aftermarket HU not turning on anymore
I’ve had a pioneer headunit installed for a while now and I tried installing a harness that would allow me to mirror link my phone. After installing it and reconnecting the battery it will no longer turn on. On top of that my voltage and pressure gauges stay on constantly now. The HU is getting powe...

Re: Strange noise when idling
It’s definitely in the engine bay, that’s the thing it doesn’t happen every day and only in drive so if I’m somewhere where I can safely leave it in drive and put the parking brake on I’ll hop out and get a quick video

Strange noise when idling
Just noticed this terrible noise when idling in drive. I’m assuming it has something to do with the pulleys or belts but I don’t have the expertise. It doesn’t happen every time I drive but when it does it’s embarrassing. When I go to neutral it makes no such noise. Here’s the video: https://youtube...

Re: CV Axle/Tie rod/sway bar link noises
Wanted to revive this as I have begun to hear strange popping/knocking sound when I go from D to R. It happens usually between 1 & 3 times depending on how far back I’m going. After doing a bit of reading, the results have come up as a bad cv axle. However, after watching some videos, most examp...

Evo rear diffuser on an ES
Hey all, I’ve seen a couple videos on how to do this but they all seem pretty quick and with little or no details. If there is already a tutorial or write up on how to install an evo style rear diffuser on a lower trim lancer, please let me know. Thanks in advance

Re: Rotational squeaking noise coming from front left wheel
Ok, it was while they were off but everyone I’ve asked about it says that’s not normal. Is there nothing holding it to the hub?

Re: Rotational squeaking noise coming from front left wheel
Quick update: so I’ve been driving as I normally do for about a month and a couple weeks ago I noticed all the noises are back. For one I realized my rotors were loose when I changed the pads and I was unaware they were not supposed to be that way so if someone knows the exact bolt or screw I’m miss...

Yah something like that, the ones that I found didn’t come with a resistor but same concept. White and yellow LED chips alternating. Great thanks man

Re: DRL switchback help
Ok so you added on of those universal strips? Yah I had that set up but I was trying to go for the oem drl setup but with a white for the drl and yellow for the turn signal in one bulb. Yours does look better than mine do tho

Evo CF parts in lancer
I recently found a site that sells many CF parts for the evo x (all pillars, dash trim, and some other cool parts) I just wanted to make sure that the A and B pillar trims are interchangeable. Was also looking at CF arm rest but only found them for evo7,8,9. Does anyone know if they are close enough...

Re: Rotational squeaking noise coming from front left wheel
Any word on your problem? So I just installed new Brembo pads and it made a world of difference. You were exactly right, after driving around a bit there’s no more squeaking. There was another sound that I just assumed was because I upgraded to drilled/slotted rotors but that sound is gone now too....
