All the CVT hate :/ Drive both and buy what you feel is best. Fact of the matter is I bet not a single one of you manual drivers could keep up with me down a mountain range with my CVT. However the CVT is not designed for being driven as hard as I have treated it over the 85,000 kms and mine is show...

you're not going to affect the body structure of the car at all, there a few members here running every body bracing bar possible and there has been not stressing of metal or cracking of welds. Fact is normal and spirited road driving on road tyres your not going to get enough lateral load into the ...

Not sure about Aus in the US all emergency units are fitted with such a system that sends a signal to upcoming lights to change to green while the vehicle passes through then change back afterwards.

If your not careful and you push hard it is easy to boil brakes. I have boiled mine after 10min track sessions on a low speed track. Lakeside might be a little better with the straights as the brakes could cool but be careful doing hard braking at the end of the main straight. I am not trying to be ...

be mindful of how your brake pedal feels normally, when the pedal starts getting soft and you smell a burning your brakes are on there way out.

I had a new right hand CV boot installed under warranty due to it splitting. The dealer actually told me they were having trouble finding a boot and were considering fitting a whole new shaft, not sure if they did however but the boot at least is new. at the time of the claim I had sports swaybars i...

Just some personal input here guys from someone that knows the limits of a CJ lancer I would recommend being careful if you choose QLD raceway near Ipswich. I have raced that track before (not in the lancer) and it has long straights and high speed corners, it is also very very hard on brakes. On th...

the reason to replace is because they are a pain to use. I have xmas clips on mine and I have reused mine many times. To give you an idea I remove my intake everytime I was the car (engine bay airbrushing) and I have used the same two clips for almost 3 years.

get a small flat blade screw driver under the head of the screw, then as you unscrew with one hand use the other to pry the head up with the flat blade.

once you have them out replace them with some Xmas tree clips, they are like $5 for 4 at Repco and super cheap
