Ofey, Steve.. I passed on to Tryg that you thought of him (although he is an ex-member, as you stated). Although he works here in Canungra, he raced home to his family in Toowoomba. He also has properties there. Because some of us in the military have been mobilised, I think he is staying up there ...

I think that is the scary part - its going to get worse. Had to go to the airport and pick up some friends who had no idea this was going on (they've been in New York for the last 3 weeks) and I left work at 10am, got home at 4. We can only brace for what's going to come our way

I grew up in Burpengary and went to school at Caboolture, and its amzing seeing the photos. Centenary Lakes always used to flood a little bit, but nothing like this. And I don't think that Morayfield shopping centre has had to face anything like this. On the other side of town, I have family in Toow...

I am out Ippy way (Springfield), we aren't too bad here, but there is a lot of creeks that I am keeping an eye on. The road that I work on (Donaldson Rd, Rocklea) is under, but 4WD's and trucks can get through. Apparently the creek at Oxley/Rocklea on the motorway is on high alert as well. Its just ...

QLD Floods - Any ClubCJ members affected?

Does anyone know if we have any members that maybe affected by the floods in places like Gympie, Toowoomba, etc? Was just thinking that it might be a nice thing to make a day trip to there and give them a hand if they need it. I know that lots of people need help at the moment, but just thought that...

The weather has not been friendly of late, so next weekend I will do the run, and finish off the finer points. It has been fun to put together, and I hope that you will all enjoy it.
Dates: I am proposing the dates of either 22nd or 23rd of Jan, or the 5th or 6th of Feb... thoughts?

Ok, so I have mapped out a route, and this weekend I will do a dry run and to make sure that roads haven't changed etc. Then I will rope in a friend of mine to do it to make sure that it makes sense and that the directions/clues are easy to understand and that the clues are of common knowledge. Hope...

I have the HTC Desire, love it. Battery life isn't too bad considering it has a bright screen. Unlike the iphone, when the battery dies you can replace them. Expandable memory is another bonus of the phone, as well as the fact that they can play any format music or movie.

The last one that I did you had to find things like feathers, and get business cards from certain places things like that... That is what I am going to base this one on, that way there is no risk of things being stolen if they are out on the street etc.
