Similar wheels to mine but I got the cheaper ones with 5 spokes not 6.

Still while I like the stock VRX ones it's good to have something different to stand out a bit.

Yes poor design but it's probably the same in loads of cars new and old, only dif in older cars it's hidden by trim and you don't notice until the rust starts. As I said park most sedans with the front lower than the back and water stays inside the gutter under the boot lid. Okay over night but I wo...

Don't remember hearing this on mine, its got about 90k on it now and as far as I know still on its original brakes but I've only had the car 6 months so the previous owner could have had them serviced in the first 5 years of it's life. How long can we expect the brakes to last before we need new pad...

I know this thread is a few years old but just wondering how do you take off the bit of trim on the right of the steering?

I've taken off the other matching bit that runs most of the width of the dash but don't know where to start on the right hand side bit.

Scotch guard interior?

Just wondering if anyone here have scotch guarded their interior? Don't really want seat covers in my CJ, got some nice wool skin ones in the CC but I know with the airbags its a bit harder to find the right ones. Right now I'd prefer to protect them from spills and sweet and maybe cover them later....

Only last week I went to my dealer about a air vent issue which unfortunately isn't covered, will try and fix it my self soon. Many years ago when my CC was much newer the distributer went costing about $800 to replace, I know warranties were shorter then but the car was only about 5 years old at th...

What are the usual warranty lengths? I have a MY09 Lancer, 2nd owner but now it's over 5yo the factory warranty is ended. Luckily I have a used car warranty for the next 6 years which should cover mechanical issues but there are a lot of exceptions. Is it worth contacting Mitsubishi? Also I got the ...

I know water pools in the 'gutter' inside the boot on the sedan if I park noise down and the back is higher but not sure what you mean.

Pictures would be useful.

Watching The Checkout (ABC) last week and they said non tinted windows already block about 97% of UVB and 37% of UVA radiation, so maybe it's not needed after all to protect the interior.

Again it depends how much time the car is parked (or driven) in the full summer sun.

Gave my baby a much needed wash, first since the big wash and wax and yes the waxing did help, felt much quicker this time around. Also vacuumed the carpets. Even cleaned inside the wheels, lucky I have stock brakes so plenty of room to get in there. Anyone know the best way to clean around the badg...

Was down at the dealer to check on a air vent issue (not covered under their used car warranty) anyway while there I noticed a CJ with a carbon wrapped bonnet, took a closer look and spoke to a sales guy. It is a new RA which has had it's bonnet and mirrors wrapped and not very good. Rough edges aro...

Yeah how hard would it have been for them to put in a 6 speed at some point? Then again it took them until this year to add folding mirrors with indicators! There is a lot that Mitsubishi could have done inside and out to update the CJ more over the years without costing a fortune or needing a new b...
