Acejay, Most of what people have written above sounds reasonable but a little excessive. I used to leave my Mitsu Eclipse turbo in the US for 2 mo when I came back to Aust for a break and nobody touched it while I was away. I would run fuel low, charge up and then remove battery and that was it. Whe...

Josh, You should be able to get awesome deals on MY2011 stock in the next mo or 2 as they clear to make way for new stock. A yr or 2 ago it was rumoured the MY2012 would have a major facelift but still be a CJ. It is entirely possible as Mitsu introduces all new models in the next 1-3 yrs across the...

G'Day Emanuel, Welcome to the club, Lots of great people and info on here to help you out. May I suggest you give David at RPW in Osborne Park a call and check out their website. They have exhausts from mufflers to full systems including headers that help with power increases. Also ask about a flash...

If all centre bar remains intact that may be OK.

If not then Jake is correct.
If you try to remove centre safety bumper it will be illegal without engineering approvals and even that may be impossible if it no longer meets ADR regs.

As Matt said, in that case more cost/trouble than its worth.

Hi Garry, The car not coming out of Park -- usually the brake pedal needs to be fully depressed to get an auto trans to move to a new position. I'm sure you already know that and tried that. If it is still a problem it could be that interconnect not working correctly or sending the signal to the tra...

Alan,

In most of Aust the best oil for the temps encontered would be 15W-40. been using it for yrs no problem.

As Gabriel said, a 10W-40 is also good, fractionally less friction than a 15W.
my dealer, Paceway uses magnatec 15-40, a good semi synthetic.

Wow, 10 demerits and 700 dollars that freakin hurts. So sorry mate, Graham, that old 2 cars in the pic excuse/reason only applied to the old multanovas. They generally wouldnt even mail the photo out if 2 cars in pic as the beam width would cover both cars easily and either could be speeding. The ne...
