Would you go down a dirt road? The stretch from Skenes Creek-Forest is pretty good. There is only two roads from Skenes Creek but they merge about 10-15mins in. The road closer to Apollo Bay is the dirt road while the road closer to Lorne is fully surfaced. Only 1min difference between the two roads...

You dont need to worry, you just got the grass is greener thing happening. Its normal. Its also a modding vs OEM stand point. Everyone at some stage will go through it; just wait till you have the days where you want to blow your car up  At the end of the day it should be what you want. Persona...

Ive seen different articles match the AWD to two different engines now (the 2.4 and the 2.0). No matter which engine it goes in it will be a waste of the technology. Either engine is still underpowered for such a platform that has high drivetrain losses. The FWD NA's will beat it at every chance. Th...

Depends what your looking for. If you happy with current line-up just get anyone of those but might be worth waiting for the next MY cycle though. With the US getting the AWD NA Lancer who knows what Australia is going to get. Although one difference between AU and US is Mitsubishi have no problems ...

You can do it yourself. In either FG or CF What you do is make a full scale clay prototype as its a simple structure or if you have access to either a VRX or that other spoiler you can use that as a template. Then you get the tooling stuff (boat builders is easy place to find it). Once you are happy...

The crank no one is 100% certain on. I went a full stroker kit for mine but wont be installing until I get the bearings (just waiting on stock to come in). With the LSD at RPW, speak to David at RPW and you can get it a few hundred cheaper. As for the block; that all depends on what your planning on...

Be very careful in pushing our cars up to the stock Evo boost level. On stock internals they can not handle it. Our blocks are strong but not our internals. Even with my car we have had to hold off on running it at higher boost levels just for reliability. Our cars can safely take from 5-8pounds on ...

Dont worry too much, people are very sceptical when it comes to any forced induction FWD CJ Lancers... Ive heard of your car and have also heard of another car down here in Melbourne that was running a partial Evo build with an aftermarket turbo kit. That car blew its engine due to it not being tune...

It is confusing. CF has so many different ways it can be made and policing it is something that is hard to do. CF has a blanket ban on it so it can be assessed case by case. Unlike many other materials used where there are standards in place CF it changes from every different manufacturer. Even thou...

FRP, CF, FG, Steel and any other material is still listed as 'illegal' until an engineers certificate is obtained. Steel however will easily get an engineers certificate with little to no problems. CF not far behind. Without that certification; the part is classed as illegal regardless of what its m...

Technically if it does not come from the OEM manufacturer its illegal regardless of the material its in. CF, FG, Steel, Weetbix, Cheese its all illegal... By illegal it means it cant be registered for road use. By all means you can have it just dont drive around with it. Get pulled over with it and ...

Evo X bonnet replica's (in steel, not FG or CF)
Found something for you all... http://ssv.com.au/product.php?2580 So many of you were after one of these and just about everyone could not afford the OEM version (cost blowouts to over 2k, finding smashed Evo/RA with no front damage very rare). Well someone finally put one out for you all in steel. ...
