Thanks for the info guys... was leaning more towards the 650D just because I have a little bit of experience with the old EOS 450d ... Though from what I have read and seen the K5 does look like it is well made and takes some awesome stills.... haven't really had the time to read up on NIKON and SON...

Was thinking about buying a decent DSLR soon... maybe a Canon EOS 650D because I am familiar with the EOS layout... Also read that the Pentax K5 is pretty good. do you know much about them?
