The car should know about door ajar. Do you get an indicator on dash if boot is open?

Re: 07 to 09 lancer trims with security alarms
Here is a link explaining the standard alarm from the lancers/ASX/outlander You may need to turn on google translate. It's configured through the etacs. It explains about extra sensors etc you can add. http://mmc-autoelectric.org.ua/outlander-iii-2013my/skrytye-funktsii/184-aktivatsiya-shtatnoj-sign...

Re: 07 to 09 lancer trims with security alarms
I think it would have to be a canbus alarm. It would make sense to do it that way to avoid extra remotes and it would stop the factory immobiliser getting annoyed with the extra stuff. This wouldnt be a diy install. I used to fit car alarms for a company for many years. They are very compicated. Mon...

Re: 2011 Lancer ES Build Log
Wow, what a good price, and I love what you've done with it. Do you have more info about that centre console charging ports? They look mighty useful. I'd love to see more; keep the thread rolling! :D I grabbed an aerpro one, it was reasonable price. One side is data, one side just charging IMG_5745...

Re: Ralliart - China
I am going to create a thread for my car, but here is a look at the ralliart carbon front bumper bit fitted. I have lots of stuff ordered for my car. Injectors, intake, gauges all fitted and working. So think its time for a thread

Ralliart - China
Hi I just thought I would share my positive experience with Ralliart China. I found what I needed. Sent the part numbers via Facebook messenger and they sent me an invoice with shipping. Paypal was available and very easy to deal with. https://www.facebook.com/ralliartchinaltd https://ralliart.asia/...

Re: Install of carbon gauge cluster.
Ok, update on the car, it's all fixed now. I ended up ordering some Loctite 567 thread sealer. I was told its equivalent part is the Permatex stuff. To get the sensor out wasn't too much of a pain. I had them take out the rear fuel line bracket to allow a little bit of movement to get an extended 19...

Re: Install of carbon gauge cluster.
No worries, I'll give it a go thanks mate. I am just hoping I don't lose to much coolant from swapping it out.

Re: Install of carbon gauge cluster.
Yeah it is. The only thing stopping me is I’m not sure if I have to use sealant on the sensor. I read online people recommended to use permatex red thread sealant I can’t find it in stores anywhere local. So I might have to order some online

Re: Install of carbon gauge cluster.
Ok, small update hopefully positive. I got a new genuine water temp sensor in the post today. I plugged in to harness without putting it into the thermostat. Started the car no missing which was good. I had a check engine light. I cleared it using evoscan. Then I ran logs and the temp within the eng...
